| John waves from the resurgence room | Dave is asking... what did you get me into?? | A scale drawing of Oklahoma Cave Bat (myotis velifer) weggied into a crack. |

| A few comparisons on the size of these little guys. | They can be solo or in a group (called a mat). | One person (John) takes notes while others count. |

| Looks like JT got a critter that's not a bat! | Saved him from being stepped on.. looked, then returned him to the water. | Jester is known for it's velifer mats. |

| Saw a lot of dead bats this year in the water... 16 in a row in one section... very strange! | We always see this frog (different frog) on this rock every year! | Going into pip hall - it's typically warmer up this hall. |

| This is a pip (pipistrellus subflavus). They are smaller than myotis, and a bit more reddish. | At the end of pip hall, we all take a break. | Don't get too close to the guy with the flash or you'll be blinded! |

| We did see a disturbing thing... this row of like popcorn... | was chiseled off of the cave ceiling. | And it was fresh! Not a long ago scar. Not only against the law, but what looks pretty in a cave, is rather dull in real light. |

| Head on pip! | On our way out, the bats started getting active | So we started to boogie on out! |
